B&H Photo order arrived
It's taken just over a week for my B&H order to ship from New York.
USD 82 for shipping, ZAR 519 for customs. Amazingly, the combined cost is still cheaper than anywhere in South Africa.
I've seen what the local distributor charges retail stores for the products I ordered. Needless to say, there's a mark-up of at least 50% by the time Joe consumer buys in-store.
Apple and Canon products aren't the only ones affected.
